About us

Nexum is an independent specialised asset manager within the European credit market focusing on the Nordic region.

Nexum was established in 2004 to capture investment opportunities within the European credit market. Nexum is independent and owned by its employees. Our focus is the Nordic region where we benefit from our closeness to the market and our knowledge of Nordic industries and companies in particular.

The investment philosophy of Nexum is based on our strong belief that consistent high risk adjusted returns can only be achieved through extensive knowledge of companies and their strategies. We therefore look for ideas where the catalyst for value creation is company specific rather than macro driven. Essential for our investment process is therefore our proprietary credit research.

Nexum manages three credit funds; Nexum Nordic High-Yield Credit Fund, Nexum Nordic Loan Fund and Nexum Nordic Loan Fund II, each with its own distinct focus. The funds are investment companies organized under Luxembourg law as SICAVs and regulated by the financial authorities in Luxembourg.
